Respray, your opinion wanted!


What colour for my EJ8 coupe respray?!

My current car is an EJ8 coupe in black, but a poor previous respray means she is going back into the shop for a full respray. Which has me thinking....what colour?! Need to consider I have carbon fibre Feel's bonnet, carbon fibre Mugen style front lip and rear spoiler, Volk Rays TE37's in bronze.

Options:

Championship White (same as FD2/FN2)
Alternative white, metallic/pearlescent
Vogue Silver Metallic
Night Hawk Black

Spoon blue :D or takata green hahaha go for something different i say take advantage of getting a respray and go for a non oem colour you got some nice parts on there :nice:
 
i'd say do it black and maybe get a bit of flake in the so its a little different!

Its all great saying this but would you do it if it was your car.. Maybe he wants something nice and simple as it could be a daily driver and not something that will look out of place.. I think that the silver will look good with the carbon

Yeah man i really would! Just a suggestion to be a little different thats all. And it doesnt have to be a colour that totally stands out i looked into a few different colours that were really smart from other manufacturers before i stuck with ssb !

I'm not sure about Pirates black, it looks almost purple in some lights I find.

Hmmm, I do like it in black...I just can't make up my mind whether to take the opportunity for something different, I've had it black for 3 years now...

As above, it's not driven daily, but it is my only car at the minute so I'm not looking for anything over-stated.

i voted for nighthawk black but what about midnight purple? i am loving that colour right now :)
 
Midnight purple is so synonymous with Nissan that you might as well start putting Nismo parts on it too. It'd just be wrong!
The CW looks good but it might look like you were trying to make a 'fake Type R'. If you were going for white I'd use Grand Prix white off the S2000 and NSX. Personally, I think that the darker silver colour looks really smart and will look classy with the carbon and bronze.
 
Those silver ones look great, so VSM gets my vote.
 
White does not suit it, looks like you are already bored with black, looks tidy in VSM :nice:
 
out of them colours id go vsm but i love Y-56 yellow. that would be my choice with the engine bay done in takata green or spoon blue
 
I think it would look superb in VSM mate, If I had a sick coupe like that it would be in VSM :D
 
Thanks for all the input folks! I'm still not 100% sure haha, I'm feeling like a toss up between black with a metallic flek (something subtle), and VSM. You'll all see soon enough what I decide upon :nice:
