I have decided that while I’m working on the car I would like to install an oil cooler along with oil temp ans pressure gauges.
I would like to ask the forum a few questions;
1/ Can I keep the current oil heat exchanger and mount a sandwich take off to it - for the 1/8 npt sensors and then an oil cooler sandwich take off to this for the thermostat take off for the cooler?
2/ Are there any issues with oil pressure losses after fitting an air to oil cooler that I need to consider?
3/ Any major differences between the major brands of cooler kits?
4/ Is there a better way for me to connect the oil senders to the engine other then via the additional sandwich plate ?
5/ 13 row matrix OK for the odd track days?
Thanks
