Do you know if the aftermarket CAT, is a straight swap? M2 do a sports CAT, same length, the only caveat is the flange holes not mating up?

I will put some CAT cleaner through the tank, and get the car upto temp, and then test the emissions again. I'm working away at the moment, so it's difficult organising anything.

I've searched on the Internet , other forums in the US, are also calling it air mixture screw as well, I did think that was only on a carburettor? I've had few chances to buy a second hand Cat but all over £200 to much of gamble.

Yes emission tester, I don't think it was up to normal driving temperature at that time, I cannot remember? The Cat is the original one , I will try some cleaner, then I'll have to take the CAT off. Before I fitted the new O2 sensor the other two readings were also in the red, I was kinda...

If the standard air intake elbow pipe was loose where it slides onto the throttle body, would that throw the reading out? Also the car has done less than 100km since 2013 would that have anything to do with it?

Just an update I've had the car on the tester and a new O2 sensor almost cured the emissions but still running rich (see the top reading) any ideas, the main mechanic is on his holiday at the moment , Do you think it is the air mixture screw on the throttle body ? The car runs fine,idles fine...

Afternoon, Can anyone tell how far (once screwed right in) how many turns to wind it back out the factory setting ? I thinks it's air mixture screw on the throttle body see picture. Also I have attached another pic, How do to remove the scuttle panel plugs/fixings without breaking them.

Have you topped it too much? Or airlock?

There is plenty of EK's getting broke up in the UK, Have you tried ebay UK ? There is one ek9 shell on ebay for sale.

Have you checked the wiring? Bad earth?
