Matt's Facelift EK9.

hi tenz.

that is one clean car.
just one remark, your groundwire on the valvecover is wrong.
take it to the left nut,for good ground.

Today's update: New exhaust manifold.

I ended up with Tegiwa's manifold as it took all the boxes for my requirements.

I'll be fitting it next weekend.

When I got to work this morning there were a few parcels waiting for me..

Drivers door top molding/seal.

Coolant temperature sensor. The one located in the top radiator hose is faulty and causing the needle in the gauge to flick from hot to cold.

Carbing radiator cooling plate.

Bride super low seat rail for the drivers seat.

During the week I got my new parts fitted.

The manifold fitted perfectly and has made a definite improvement in performance. The only negative is the support bracket doesn't line up but it will only take 10 minutes

to fabricate a suitable bracket.

The seat rail has dropped the seating position around 30mm and again the fitment is good.

Replacing the temperature sender has resolved my flicking gauge issue. The new door molding has tidied up the exterior nicely. And the cooling plate is a nice addition

to the bay.

Not much has been happening with the car over these past few weeks.. So i decided to give the bodywork some much needed attention.

The rear arch lips have been under sealed on both sides then i fitted some oem arch guards. The underneath of the car got a fresh coat of under seal too.

The paint work got polished, glazed and sealed using Chemical Guys products. I've replaced the headlight bulbs and painted the brake stopper championship white.

Great work!

Car looks amazing. Keep up the great work

After a 7 week wait I finally received my Carbing front upper strut brace from Rhdjapan.

lovely 9 man, all the small bits add up to make a big difference! you must spend some time finding part numbers!

Love this car and all the wee touches you have done. Fancy undersealing mine? haha looks like you have the proper gear for it. Great work man :)
