Hi guys,

I have a built B16 build underway. It uses a B16A block and EK9 B16B head. I need a full engine assembly gasket kit but don't want to buy a cheap gasket set. I have priced OEM from Honda as i would prefer OEM quality for it. Questions are:-

  • With my build, i'm guessing an EK9 B16B gasket set will do the job - considering the block is B16A? B16B gasket set was my idea obviously as i was using the B16B head and presumed exhaust and inlet gaskets would be bigger. Are there gasket differences between B16A and B16B block gaskets or are they the same?
  • OEM gaskets from Honda are on backorder and ETA is early October and i need them sooner. Does anyone have any contacts for a decent full gasket set in the UK for quick lead time, good quality and potentially something that would be more cost effective over Honda? I know good fast and cheap don't usually go together, like...! :)
Any advice, links or tips would be great!

Many thanks,

John

I used a gasket set made by a company called stone gaskets. Apparently they make oem Honda head gaskets.

Had no issues with the whole set.

I've spoke to Honda today, and the OEM part numbers for b16b gaskets they've given me dont match the OEM part numbers on htune, tegiwa, simautoparts etc
hmmm lol
