Going to buy a set of tyres for the 9 but not sure on what to go for, im stuck between
Toyo t1-r's at around £80 for a pair
Or
Yokohama parada spec 2's at £95 a pair.

Who's had what give me your feedback :)

You'll get haters for both tyres tbh.
I've never ran the spec 2 but had t1r. They are fine for daily duty if that's what your 9 is about?
As above if you've got more cash then ad08 are great

From my experience i found the t1r's to wear quicker than the spec 2's maybe due to being slightly softer? Not sure. Also t1r's are now discontinued must just be selling left over stock

Iv had both, i found the t1-r to be good in the wet and the stiffer side walls helped, but I preferred the parada for dry weather grip and were ok for cheap trackday rubber, havent tried the ad08 yet.

re002 - not as much £££ as ad08s if you dont do track days, miles better than the above two you've mentioned imo
I love mine on the 9

I've had plenty experience with the T1R, good for a daily but it is often mislabeled as a "performance tyre", which it certainly isn't. The sidewall is soft, grip is good. For the money they are not bad, but if you want a tyre for some spirited driving look elsewhere.

ad08 were 60 each not long ago, more like 80 each now on camskill

They are a decent tyre though. Would always recommend them over anything that isn't a proper semi slick.
Perfect for road and also real good on track.

Neither for the money.
RE002 Bridgestone Potenza get my vote. Can usually pick them up for around £200 a set of 4. Will perform better all round and certainly last longer than either of those 2.

I've used the ad08 when I had my dc5, will probably use them on my ek9 next

The only other option I can think of is the nankang ns2r. They are a bit more "semi slick" and have a good wet grip rating but that's about all I know about them

RSR's too. lovee mine, great on the road. bit crappy in the wet when cold, but for the price the're spot on for road and track! the only appeal nankangs had to me was that they were cheap, now theyve gone ad08 price I'd rather have RSR's

Had the RSRs for a trackday aswell, felt really good for the first few laps of a hot day at Bedford auto.
Really good feel through the steering wheel of where the tyres grip ended. But I soon over heated them and that feel and ultimate grip went away.
Was 195s and with 260hp through them so no doubt be great on a lower hp car.
Decent shout for sure considering the price.
