Looking to do a USDM sidelight/indicator conversion on my civic EJ9. I want it set up so that the indicators are permanently on when a separate switch is on and permanently off when the switch is off. however i want the indicators to work as normal when turned on by the stick regardless of the switches position.

I dont want them running off the side lights, and want it working on all six indicators.

Has anyone done this successfully?!

simplest way to do the fronts the way you want would be to use twin filament bulb holders with twin filament bulbs and run one connection to a seperate switch and the other to the OEM indicator loom.

You could do the same with the rears however not even sure they make the dual holders for the side repeaters.

You don't want them all on anyway that would look F-ucking ridiculous PMSL

yeah i had a set in mine dim orange for the side light then flash bright very cool ;)

buy a kit from boltsbolts.co.uk and just wire up to a switch instead of wiring too side lights

Go towards the end of my video and you'll see the setup. I did it on accident and that's the light setup I got in the video which is the same one you want, I think. I don't have that light setup anymore because I wanted the JDM setup where it doesn't stay on and always blink together. Basically, you'll need a dual filament corner/blinker bulb because all USDM cars are required to have it. 3 wire terminals. 1 is negative. 1 is positive signal. 1 is positive parking/corner light. The last wire is what you guys do not have because you don't have dual filament. For you guys, the USDM car's positive parking/corner light wire is your JDM city light positive wire. Wire that city light positive wire into the dual filament bulb so it'll stay on but at a dim level so it's not as bright as when it's being signaled. For the sidemarker, the positive from sidemarker will tap into the car's parking/corner (city light) wire, and the sidemarker's negative wire will tap into the car's signal wire; I think this is how I did it.
