Just spent the past hour reading your build! Really good and us fully! I blow my b16a2 engine up few months ago with standerd internals. Not joking the way you expanded it how it blow up! That's what went wrong it me. Cheers for the good Idea. Where did you get your pistons and rods from?

I got mine from realstreetperformance in the US.
Recommend these guys, got to be one of the best companies I've ever dealt with and they are cheap!

+1 its where I got mine from, took me a while for me to actually order from them as I thought the price was too good to be true, delivery was so quick and i didnt get stung too bad with import fees either :D

Is that who I told you use Jesse they are very good by the way guys

May have been you. Was defo linked by someone and nearly fell over when I see their prices

Cheers for putting up the realstreetperformance name guys, just on their website now. All the prices are very similar to what I have seen from UK based suppliers, difference is there prices are in dollars instead :D So much cheaper, I'll be dropping them a message with my list.

Cheers.

Been away from comp for ages but yeah. Realstreet are good. Good business and hand sorted a few of us out now. I hinted about them getting on the forum.

If you were doing a full build then I'm sure that Tegiwa would do a deal if you emailed them the parts list you were after.

Another good shout is Ipg in the states. When I forged mine he was really good, and as cheap as realstreet.

Tegiwa are good and have looked after me for years but they just couldn't match what Realstreet offered me on rod combo's both in my choice of rod/piston and price, I always go Tegiwa for my bits when possible, half my parts are from Tegiwa when it comes to breathing and cosmetics lol! They havn't let me down at all and Johnny has always done his best for me down to ordering bearings and sorting me out a good price when needed, although for forged engine internals and forced induction the USA is far ahead of us in the UK. For a full build on quality parts ordering from the States is always going to be cheaper without sacrifice on quality, plus the options are a lot greater!

I used Realstreet too, good at answering emails etc and prices are very good!

I think if you want a super reliable 400hp I would look at having the block sleeved, I know many have made more than 400hp on stock blocks but for how long?
