Ste's E92 M3 coupe

Not a clean car but it's cold and wet! Took a few pics whilst getting a quick Visio clip of the exhaust sound!

Quick sound clip below

Thanks mate, I nearly got a free remus backbox recently but I've turned it down as I don't want it overly loud!

I've just had my email from Evolve that my GTS dct software is ready to install :D
I'll get it done ASAP and see how it compares.

I know it's sad but these little things make all the difference to me!
Wheel M badges arrived and fitted.
Before

After

Really need to paint disc bells and calipers but I'll let the weather dry up a bit before I do that!

I've come away to Northumberland for my birthday, whilst crossing the causeway to Holy Island I couldn't resist taking a few pics!
Car is filthy but here you go....

I had to cross a ford too, wasn't an issue for the M3

And a random shot I took at holy island.....

I've got a track day booked on the 22nd at Anglsey so I've just ordered some uprated brake pads, I'm going to leave it on road tyres just for a comparison basis. I will have to buy some new rears though as the Falken fk453 on the rear currently are a comedy tyre!
As I'm only doing it on road tyres I've gone for Brembo sport HP2000 pads all round as I found them a great pad on the road, slightly better than the ferodo DS2500. Obviously I'll be changing to some better brake fluid too motul rbf600 probably.

Well the comedy rear tyres have amused me enough! So I've ordered some michelin pilot super sport in 275/35/19.
I also fitted my Brembo Sport pads today and flushed the brake fluid to some dot 4 performance fluid. Initial opinion on them is good, I've had them before on a different car and they seem just as good on road. Can't wait to see how they hold up on track!

Beautiful as always! Wen u hitting the track?
Thanks mate, booked on at Anglesey 22nd feb!

So new rear tyres are fitted, still seem very slippy at the moment so I'll reserve judgement until they've had some proper use.
I've booked the car in for geometry to be set up, looking into the geo setting at the moment!

Ok so I had my geometry set up today, I used Liverpool ball joint centre as they always do a great job and are very helpful.
The car was well out but is all sorted now, I must say the rear end feels much more stable now.

Now:

The only part they couldn't get right was the front camber, as it still had the bolt in from bmw on the strut top. The adjustment looks poor anyway from the strut top so I'll look into adjustable front camber options to get it perfect.

Got the bike out for a ride today as it was dry and not been out for months on it.
Decided to give both the bike and car a quick wash so couldn't resist a few pics of my toys together

Awesome car and bike! Ive got mich pilots on my m3 and there good. Im goner use cups on my track setup i think
I was tempted in cups, but I'm trying to stop myself going down the track car route! Got the bike for that.

Another part sourced for the M3 :D
Should get Thursday!

Such a nice car! Exhaust sounds amazing!

That spoiler really makes it look bad ass! Those wheels compliment the car so well!

Yet to meet someone who doesn't like an e92 M3! Motoring perfection!!

Haha track car route is easily done. Im trying to source a decent big brake kit and damper setup for mine. What are the brakes like on the e92?

So collected and installed my new lci (facelift) led rear lights and bmw adapters.

Totally made up they really transform the rear of the car In my opinion.

I also had some coding done (Ecu options which are not selected on the car standard)

-Folding mirrors when locking the car.
-Ecu coded for led rear lights
-seat belt bong thing turned off as it's the most annoying thing ever!

Pics of new lights installed

On the road they seem fine, but I imagine they will die on track.
I've fitted uprated fast road pads (brembo hp2000) and racing dot 4 brake fluid so I'll see how they fair!
