as above what aftermarket flywheel would people recommend for a b18c? The car will be used at night for cruising around and a bit of racing and a few track days too so does anybody have any recommendations? I will not be getting a dual mass flywheel anyway seen enough of them going bad in work(mechanic).. i was looking at them rgp flywheels that tegiwa have forsale?

B18c doesn't have a dual mass flywheel...
Honestly any of the reputable brands out there will do. Not really a case of which is best, they are all just flywheels.

Don't get caught up in some brand whoring, nobody is going to see it anyway. I'm personally not a huge fan of fidanza although many swear by them. Mine lost 2 out of 3 locating dowels, also bearing has to be glued in etc... Just get a good quality cromoly flywheel and you'll be set

I'm using na exedy, great quality and it's made from a single piece chromoly, very durable and not too light, mine wheight aroun 9.5lbs.......great for the street

We've sold 1000's of Fidanza with no issue. The bearing DOES NOT have to be glued in.

Had fidanza in a few cars and fitted around 30, never had those problems and never had to glue a bearing in lol!

My advice, go as light as you safely can and fit a fidanza :)

I have a fidenza in mine. Had it for a good while now. Never caused an issue, takes some abuse from me aswell lol

you must use loctite on the bearing this is directly from fidanza not something I've made up. It is due to different expansion properties of aluminium and steel.

Iknow the b18 doesnt come with a duel mass. Im saying that nobody should recommend any dual mass flywheels cause ive seen loads of them **** up on other brand cars

You won't find a dual mass flywheel for these engines on the aftermarket, the harmonics etc are balanced in a different way is what I'm getting at.

iv used fidanza with no issues... just remember, depending on what you use the car for the lighter the flywheel the more torque you will loose on inclines. if you live in a fairly flat area then id definitely go for the fidanza

You will loose momentum in any case. Also, weight is not all, it also depends where do you remove the weight from, the further out from the center the bigger the effect of lightening.
