just had some meisterr zeta r coilovers fitted to my civic Jordan vti originally it was lowered on lowering springs and standard shocks.

I decide to go a bit lower so the tyre is now level with the arch but my problem is I drove 117 miles with no problems but as soon as I got a mile away from my house I started here a knocking noise like something was lose.

so I jacked the car up to make sure there was no bolts loose but found I have some play in the driveshaft. as it can be moved towards the gearbox and back towards the hub which causes a knocking noise.

I then took it to a local garage today who said because I've lowered it more the driveshaft is now to short to sit correctly and I could solve the problem by raising the car up or get a longer driveshaft. so I raised the drivers side 10mm too see if would cure it but still I can move the driveshaft.

here a link to a video of the noise and the play in the driveshaft

does anyone have any advise? before I decide to just get 2 new driveshafts fitted and hope for the best

knocking noise solved turned out it was a loose top mount bolt.

but my driveshaft's are still able to move like in the video but while driving you cant hear anything unless your on fall lock and shake the steering wheel.
anyone have an idea what this could be ?
