Bushell's OEM+ Nine

Interior is pretty clean still, all I did was put 2 mugs of rice in it mate to absorb any moisture so it must be doing the trick.

Also @Deans96r has it spot on....I use the blur tool on photobucket to blend in all the rust, mould and general grime.

Yeah I edited the last photo of the car so everyone couldn't see dean sitting in the corner with his favourite gimp mask on....

You bought me that gimp mask I always keep it close by....

you should have gotten washers with the rear coilovers to fit them snug! i did anyway

@Turfy nah man they just supplied 8 nuts for the top mounts. No washers . Will get some from halfords or something I think

Got the washers sent from Cyberspeed and went to fit the coilovers, thought I may as well fit the LCA's as well.... then



Had my finger on the back of it to make sure it was turning which it was but turns out it was seized in the bush
didn't have a drill or grinder with me to sort this so left that job and moved on to the next, the rear d bushes, thankfully this went fine.

old vs new


So my new plan was to build it back up put the wheels on and limp it 100 yards to the garage along the road to get the bolt ground out.

Got my wheels back from the bodyshop







Got my tyres fitted Friday and headed out to the car on Saturday to get it on the road and finally have some fun.



Dropped the car off at the garage and returned an hour later, the car was sitting outside and I was excited..then the mechanic told me he had no tool small enough to get in to the broken bolt without taking the hub off etc and had no time yesterday. So I just decided to get it sorted myself and removed the trailing arm. @R1PPU loves being destructive and offered his grinding services so I dropped the arm off to him. Removing the arm also brought to my attention the RTA bushes are deteriorated so will be replacing them whilst the arm is off.







The lca bolt in the subframe on the other side is also seized so will need to go back to a garage to get that sorted as I don't have the tools to deal with that, once that has been freed off the RTA will be coming off that side and the bush replaced.

Just want to get out and play now, just getting hit with one thing after the other, glad this is a toy and not my daily that's for sure.

Cheers man. Absolute nightmare. RTA bush next. Then fit it. Get the bolt in the subframe on the other side out, new RTA bush and should be good to go....after an alignment, tax and mot.

So, got my RTA back, and got the new RTA bush fitted. Re-fitted the whole unit back on to the car and drove it to my mates garage where we cut the seized bolt in the sub frame out and got my other lca fitted. Also did my front d bushes, still have a small metallic knock at the front though and not sure what it is . So all that is left to do now is fit the driver side RTA bush, MOT, Tax and an alignment. Nearly there. Oh and give it a good clean.

My brother stole his camera back so its back to crappy phone pics for now, sorry.

















The Wife got a new car last week to, Honda Civic EP2 with 36k on the clock, top spec, 1 owner from new and a EP3 spoiler fitted from factory, so we spent about 5 hours giving a good clean, not many photo's but you get the idea, she did the inside, windows, hovered, plastics etc and I did the outside, a lot of washing, claying, washing, and polishing. Never had time to wax but it will be getting machined soon anyway.
