Hubcentric spacers.. Are they safe?

does anyone know if it would be detrimental to only run wider track up front? :run:

Will help with turn in I have read which is good but that will make the backend a bit more lively I think :)

Logan I'm running 16mm spacers on ET42 wheels (6.5J) and TBH I could go wider on stock wings. If I was you I'd go wider than 15mm, you've got the room for it!

Going to go for 20mm I think should be enough to fill the wings out.

We make 3 types of wheel spacers.

Option 1 - Slot on. These are the cheapest and just "slot on" to the hub. They're machined with the correct centrebore and PCD so they fit the hub perfectly rather than the generic slot on style which hang off the studs and have a sloppy fit. Maximum thickness on standard studs is around 5mm for the Hondas.

Option 2 - Hubcentric slot on. These have a machined lip to fit over the existing centrebore and have a lip to locate the wheel onto on the outside face. Again, these are machined with the correct PCD and centrebore of the car. Minimum thickness is around 10mm as it needs to cover the existing bore and have material to machine the outer lip. We can make the outer lip larger if required if you have aftermarket wheels, if this is the case we can make the spacers slimmer as well. You will need longer studs fitting if you go more than 5mm thick and not going for option 3.

Option 3 - Hubcentric bolt on. These are the same as Option 2, but have a set of new nuts and studs. They're designed to bolt onto the hub and have new studs to bolt the wheel onto. Again, they're machined to the correct PCD and centrebore of the car and don't need longer studs fitting. The minimum thickness of these is 17mm to allow enough wall thickness between the new nut and the hub so they don't rip apart under heavy use. These can go as wide as you like. The largest we've made in the past are 100mm (each side!!) We can also supply these with a larger outer centrebore for aftermarket wheels, and can also supply with a different outer PCD so long as the total number of studs are the same (4x100<>4x114.3, 5x100<>5x114.3 etc)

All our spacers are made to order, so can be made to your exact requirements, but without the added premium of custom made parts. If you've got any questions on them, drop me a message.
