Hi all,

Ive always used traditional wheel bolts in the past. I believe I cant use the standard EK9 ones with my new wheels.

I was looking at the following, any idea if they will be okay:

http://www.part-box.com/product_info.php?products_id=6513

I have no idea what measurements I need and stuff. Also the wheel studs (first link provided), are the safe / reliable ones to use? Im not sure if they are a good match for the nuts I have selected.
Also, these studs I believe you feed through the back of the hub, is this correct? I thought wheel studs had two different threads on them, one for the hub and one for the bolt like in the link below:

Appreciate any info, clueless I am's.

It's only the nuts you need to change.
M12x1.5 thread wheel nuts made from steel with a taper suited to aftermarket wheels are your best option. I gotmine from eBay pretty cheap..
Avoid the light weight alloy nuts if you plan to track the car

Thanks again dude.

I have an old friend of mine that is able to get some studs fabricated actually, high tensile steel. Im just not 100% sure on the length I would need, the ARP ones are states to be 2.85 inches, seems a bit short?

Also fitting of these wheel bolts, are they fed via the back of the hub?

Been doing a bit more research, think if I were to grab a set of nuts these would be the ones:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/m12-x-15-...-TOYOTA-NISSAN-CIVIC-MITSUBISHI-/140903141796

Being open ended I beleive they are a "little" lighter, but steel which is what I seem to be after for track use.

However I spotted this all in kit also:

Going to contact them and ask what materials exactly the studs are made from (only says high tensile (I suspect steel). Only issue is I will need an extra 4 ontop of my order.

They do the following length studs:
75mm
82mm
90mm

For info on wheel nut material strengths, I found this a real good guide:

Sorry I didn't explain very well,

Unless you plan to run large spacers you should not need to change your studs.

The oem studs are pressed in not screwed in anyway.

Ah I see, so no need for replacement studs? Execllent. Will just look into some nuts then, most likely those eBay ones.
