Hi guys,

recently on my ek9 i have noticed that there is a clunking noise coming probably from the boot or from the rear of my car as i go over bumps and uneven road surfaces. Anyone know what it could be?

Thanks in advance.

I dont think so, will have a look tomorrow. Im thinking it could either be the rear anti roll bar links or the rear shocks.

Check Anti-Roll bar links & bushes (with weight ON the suspension)

Don't know what dampers your running but OEM Dampers don't usually knock even after crazy mileage. (Aftermarkets are prone however)

exhaust also a good thing to check. especially round the LCA / Axle area.

Id go with drop links aswell on this tbh, had a similar problem and that sorted mine.

Thought it would have been top mounts so changed to bc coilies from oem suspension. still got the noise but im heading towards the rear lca's, as bushes have worn. will be changing rear lca's this week or so. :D

I've just replaced the offside side rear shock on the coilovers on my civic Jordan. Was knocking like mad. All sorted now.
But yeah I echo the above.. links and rear arm hitting exhaust.

Changed my rear anti roll bar bushes and rear drop links and the noise has gone! :D Thanks to all who replied.
