Been collecting parts for this for about a yr.. just grabbing parts here and there, the shell I've had for about 2 yrs.. its solid and has been painted Almond Cream by previous owner.. who abandoned his build after painting it.. I got it as a rolling shell for £90!
At the moment its just a shell and a pile of parts but I soon hope to start building it up. I have a spare k20 engine ready and my built short ratio LSD box from my previous Kswap cars will be going in. I have a C30-94 rotrex unit and will be bottom mounting it. It will be running a small fuel cell and digi dash.. with just a basic custom loom made by a friend of mine. I hope to see around 750kg and 350bhp.

We started welding a cage if a few weeks back and have stitch welded some of the shell..

I'll post some pics of the parts I have gathered for it to get the thread started..

Function7 LCA's

280mm Wilwood 4 pots

225 45 15 DMacks all round on 7x15 et35 NT03's and manual steering rack.

Traction Bar

Gussets for cage

Digi dash with GPS lap timing

Kswap Mounts

Braided Brake Line for full car with bias valve

Cage based on Cusco dash dodger.. not ideal but it was too cheap to pass on.. will be fully welded in.

Sunroof blank.

Just collected this...

Amuse R1000 exhaust.. full system weighs 3.8kg!!

Really pleased with the exhaust.. its under axle too for mximum power.. its only 62mm bore but with the Rotrex on there making power shouldnt be a problem...

I collected a DC2 1" M/C and servo for this too.

Yesterday we started fitting the full pedal assembly out of an EG so we can use go full hydro clutch.

We cut a chunk out the EG's bulkhead to help us with positioning the clutch pedal and clutch M/C mounting.. Throttle and brake pedal were easy enough to fit, just some trimming here and there and they sat straight in..

Bit more done today.. my mate welded in new metal to the bulkhead for hydro M/C.. we decided against welding in part we cut from the EG. only using it for mock up and getting the positioning right.. used new metal on both sides to get a nice flat surface. Just the holes to cut out now...

We also got the rear diagonal welded into the cage..

You skinned the eg bonnet as well didn't you ?
Might take the skin off my carbon bonnet , well I was contemplating it but not sure if it will effect rigidity.

I will also be going rotrex K hopefully next year as I'm bored of the B18 and craving more power and why not do it all at once like yours. Your build will help me a lot too.

The EG bonnet wasnt fully cut out like this.. without any skeleton the skin is very flexable.. I'll be fitting a vent to this bonnet once I can check clearence on the motor.

Awesome build!! Will follow this build till the end :)

Just a question. have you sold the enkei's NT03 ? (thinking of the last picture)

No I have 2 sets of wheels for it.. NT03's and Sprint Hart CPR.. but I dont think the CPR's will fit with the new brakes as they are only 14"...

if the spring harts are 14inch they won't fit your 280mm discs. 262mm disc with oem Sir/VT/VTI calipers is pretty much the biggest you can go on 14inch wheels

I have 25mm bolt on spacers that may just push the wheel away from the caliper enough to clear the Wilwoods.. they are a slim caliper so it may just clear.. we will test fit once my hubs are built back up..
