Hi, just wondering if anyone has had a BYS rep from Spirit9 for a pre facelift, if so what's the fitment like?
 
Yeah I had one on my old SSB hatch, fitment was spot on.
Never had a problem with it, just needs to be secured at the bottom better.
 
Nice one, that's what I wanted to hear! I can knock some brackets up for the bottom and maybe pick up on the original mounting points underneath.

That's exactly what I planned to do, or make a wood splitter and mount off the chassis legs and let it sit on that tight. If you get what I mean?
Never got round to it though :(
 
Yeah I get u, pick up on the towing hooks for the splitter or something like that?. I'm mainly looking at the BYS as I've gone boosted and it will give the Intercooler and oil cooler a bit more air.....and they look awesome lol!
 
Yeah that's it. Ahh the perfect bumper then really, I know a silver ek9 that's boosted running a BYS. Might be on here somewhere
 
Love that mate! That's an Airwalker isn't it, no carbon lip? From Spirit9?
 
Does look awesome I must admit....that's why I want one lol, and it's beneficial.
 
Apologies to bring this up from the dead, but a just a quick one.

Are all replica BYS front bumpers fibre glass? Like their isnt a company who does a replica in abs plastic or anything?

Fitment looks good on a spirit9 one!
 
I have a preface and facelift BYS from spirit9, only tested fitted the prefacelift one and fitment seemed good. I'm having the facelift one on my Ek9, hoping for similar fitment.
 
the facelift one will need some working on to fit good around the grill and headlights. the wings however line up perfect on mine. need to get the thing painted and on!
 
I never went for one in the end as spirit9 were out of stock. Just used the original and trimmed it for the cooler......still think they're cool though lol!
