Jesse888 Forged/stroker turbo ek9

Plan is to get a filler neck and cap welded onto the top of this(if there's enough room) or just inline filler neck.
Both will reuse the oem expansion bottle.

If you are using an inline filler make sure it is the highest part of the water system, i fitted one to a corsa b that i put a b16b into.

Just for an example of where I put the filler neck, its sitting higher than the standard radiator cap was so I would say it will do the job well

I'll try my best to get it as high up as possible.
Probably mount the rad up high as it will go and then stick the filler at the highest point of the pipe work, I'll work it out..

Ah your thinking stick a bleed nipple on the housing aren't you? Not a bad idea...

I'm game if that's what you want to do.
I've got an inline filler neck in the post but doesn't mean we need to use it.
Just desperately trying to get parts delivered lol

For those that watch this thread I'll have my old turbo setup for sale soon as the cars back from ARC-Autosport.
Manifold
Turbo
Full exhaust system
Likely around £500 mark

Jesse888 this summer is going to be epic!
The builds going on here atm is great and can't wait for
Some video action from yourself and the other lads and lassies , all coming to a close very soon .
Much respect to you for your consent bettering of you 9 ,

Yeah hopefully I can get the car complete and ready for April. Seems the season really kicks off then.

My turbine housing is due with go-autoworks on the 16th, it will then be shipped to a buddy of mine. So hopefully I should have a housing for Beetlejuice by the time he needs it.

Oh man I hope so too ,so the funny rad is out the window ?
That a good turn around time from go-autoworks?
Say you will be fine , but not so much for the stress :nerv:
All the best mate .

Autoworks are buying it in from ATP turbos Iirc. In hindsight I should have ordered straight from them but I got a deal on the postage to the uk from autoworks so...
No I'll be using the golf rad for clearance still.

It'll be alright, the cars in good hands for the cage and all the fab work.
Might get abit itchy when I'm tuning it for the first time though lol

You tuning it yourself!?

You must have the patience of a saint to keep doing what your doing after all your issues! Lol
I'd been fed up along time ago.

That's the plan bud.
Way I see it is I couldn't build a bseries start of last year, couldn't drive a hgv afew years ago, couldn't this, couldn't that etc...
I don't do can't lol

Fair play, that's the right attitude. I'd love to fully understand tuning hondata but you'd need someone like Aonghus to teach you the in's/out's of it!lol

I just started to get sick and fed up at throwing money at my build last year to the point I very nearly sold up. I'll track it this year now instead lol :nice:

Man, jesse if anyone can do it, you can. You have the drive will and perseverance that most would have giving up.

I feel I've got to the point where I can atleast hold a conversation about EFI with someone like Aonghus without being confused by anything he says.
The problem I'm having with hondata ATM is the fuel tables don't really relate to anything, they seem to be just a number. This will be an experience thing so it's a matter of time and tuning till I've got that grasped.
I'm sure I'll get it, just weather I can do it before the seasons finished and I've missed all the tracktime lol
