Using AD08's at the moment. Brilliant tyres but is there something out there that offers more grip now my car is turbo. Will be used for track and street.

Maybe
R888
595 RS-R
NS- 2R

AD08's had too much sidewall flex for my liking. I've run a few sets of NS2-R's over the last year and liked them a lot

I like my Dunlop semi slicks.
Abit sketchy when they are cold/wet though.

I think you'll over heat 888s on track with high power turbo.
A048s are probably the tyre to go for as far as track goes.

I preffered my RSR on track compared to my R888 last year, more predictable - they were near dead though but still :)

A048 would be better than the AD08's. Really didn't like the 595 RS-R's in the wet. Loved the hankook RS2's, shame they aren't available anymore.

A048 to much money.

I'm walking towards the federal 595 rs-r but what size .

205 or 195. I'm thinking the 205 as you will have a bigger contact patch. ...

The AD08's offer more grip than the federals imo, they are good too though. I used 215/45/16 with both makes. with no rubbing issues as long as your car isn't mega low.

Personally I prefer ad08 to rsr. I have had both.
R888s I just don't rate as a semi slick in warm conditions.

More DRY grip you mean? Sure there is...

But, street use will no doubt include wet weather driving, meaning you might want to choose a tyre that copes well with rain. Especially with a turbo setup!

With that in mind the AD08 is probably the most appropriate choice from your short list.

I've seen a 205 r888 on a dc2 rim, looked ridiculous lol

Get R1R for street and wet weather and another set of DC2 wheels with slick tyres for track only ?
