Why do people upgrade their eg linkage for a ek9 / dc2 linkage? Seen a couple eg's with them on now but whats the advantage of it?
P Puggie Active Member Joined Oct 25, 2012 Messages 275 Apr 16, 2016 #2 The Ek9/dc2 shifter is shorter throw and needs the linkage to fit, it's wider than the EK4/eg one.

P Puggie Active Member Joined Oct 25, 2012 Messages 275 Apr 25, 2016 #6 The base of the gear stick has a much longer/wide bushing where it bolts through onto the linkage compare to the EG/EK, I think this is to give a more solid feel with the side to side movement.
