Hi everybody!

So yesterday I picked up a lovelly EK9, or at least lovelly so far long may it continue. Has a few small niggles but nothing that isn't easily fixed! This is my 3rd honda, had an EP3 for a very brief time a few years ago then I had a DC2 which I absolutely loved, sold it last month and instantly regretted it. Was going to get another but this ek9 came up at Wat looked a good price and I had always fancied one so went ahead and grabbed it!

So here she is, 97 ek9 type R, 85k miles ish. basic I/H/E and other then that pretty much standard.

Plans for the car is just to get on track with it and do some track focused upgrades. Never done a track day, it was my plan for the dc2 but never got round to it but this time it's definitely happening! Should be the perfect car to learn in!

And my teg before I sold it.

Anyway, looking forward to my time here and hope to get to meet some other Scottish members soon!

What's the verdict on the EK9 over the DC2 then?

I went from owning a DC2 (for a very short period) to now owning a EP3 (mainly because of insurance) for over a year. Massive void in difference in the cars in oem form.

Wouldn't be sorry about an S14 looking like that! I love s-bodies. After being in my mates S15 after a remap and basic bolt ons I'm tempted by one (ps13 chassis is my favourite though).

Any plans mod wide on the EK9 then?

Looks like a nice example enjoy!

Not sure I can make a fair comparison quite yet because not had a proper thrash in the 9 yet. On first impression my dc2 felt much quicker and more raw but it was stripped out etc. Going to strip the 9 out and then see how I like it, so far I really like the balance of it.

Thanks! :) Love my s14, they are such fun cars with a few mods. Mine is 300hp and a whole lot of fun! PS13's are lovelly!

Plans for the ek9 are some light wheels, sticky tyres, coilovers and some light buckets + harnesses, strip it and get on track.

Welcome!!

That s14 is the kiddy, Need more photos of that

Lovely ek9 as well, do you prefer the 9 over the teg? even though alot of people say the integra dc2 has a better setup chassis
