Right then lads this is my silver 97 ej9.

It is completely stock apart from the stereo.

This is my first project car and my budget aint huge but here is the plan:

Rota circuit 10's 15" in gunmetal (unsure what tyres. I need ones that last a while as i do a lot of miles)

BC racing coilovers

Skunk2 Strut tower bars front and rear

Recaro Seat (not sure which ones)

Would like to convert the rear brakes to disks and get bigger disks on the front too. ( Don't know where to start with this)

Tinted back windows

Any advice on this plan would be great.

Nice standard base to start from, and decent starting points you have there anyway!

I run bc's and so far can't fault them!

Id also try and move this thread to projects as some people may get p**sd of as in wrong section bud! :nice:

This was more of a get advice thread than a build thread tbh as it'll be at least a month till i can get started on this. Cheers for the advice good to hear the BCs are a solid choice.

to change the brakes you can get the whole rear arms off of a bigger spec civic that has already got disks, or get them off an ek9 and run 5 stud :)

sparco seats are worse than aids lol

Personally i wouldnt spend to much money/hassle in changing over brake callipers/discs/ Rear arms as your car is only a 1.4 right? I would change pads and possible get some braided lines. If/when your serious about an engine conversion then by all means, brakes are a good route.

Tbh you may gave a point. Im keen to get an ek9 as soon as its financially doable so i don't think an engine swap is likely. Cheers for the input mate :nice:
