Gym/Fitness thread


I've started doing a different type of major leg exercise each time at the gym, not just on leg days like adding lunges in with chest/tri days.

Also started using wraps on my knees, anyone who has had knee problems I strongly advise to try these out. I've always had issues with my left knee, after using these I feel like robocop.
 
I loved legs as it was the only one I was good at! My legs are huge always have been.

Have since quit the gym and bought some stuff to train upper body at home and do cycling running and swimming for legs/cardio.

My issue is diet.

I am more endomorph and can not get it right! I struggle most with breakfast and food during the day at work. This leads me to eat poorly and then carry on through to the night.

I also have IBS and suffer from acid reflux both caused by diet but I find it difficult to get a balance for

IBS
Acid reflux
Fat loss
Muscle gain

I've been a bit lost and unmotivated gym wise in the last year and I am still struggling.

Mainly cause no matter what I've done I have never seen the results I want. My mate a true meso looks great and pretty much eats what he wants! W@nker!
 
So didnt go to the gym for the whole of december and drank like a pirate. The result is i've gained a stone in weight! lol. New year, new beginnings! Cut out my junk food and back in the gym yesterday to work it off and possibly be in shape for summer time! :D
 
Went down to Bodypower in Birmingham NEC on Friday with my mate Ed.
Was an awesome day although the drive was a killer lol.

Met some legends though:

Was awesome inspiration meeting some bodybuilding legends, safe to say the gym got smashed on Saturday haha

Haha cheerz man, yeah 10 months ago i weighed 10.5 stone, now weigh in at 13.5, getting there :p
 
i need to get back to the gym, but i just dont have the energy in the evenings for it!
 
dont forget to drink pleny of water during the day and whilst training, it very important!
 
I have been off the gym for 3 weeks now. Just been too busy with the engine swap on the car...helping girlfriend with a big charity show she produced and moving out into a house with her....

Its actually been so nice to have all that time to myself instead of rushing to the gym after work. never realized how much effort it really was.....

But on the downside, I had been consistently training well since last summer and had been making some good gains as of late. Feel a bit rubbish that a lot of that hard work has probably gone now....especially with summer just round the corner!!!

Oh well better get back in there tomorrow and play hard to catch up!
 
I never thought i would have been one to comment in this thread but after a helpful push from a friend i am totally addicted now. I have lost almost 2 1/2 stone since last September. I have a little bit more to lose and a lot more to tone.
I am over the moon with the change to my body and can wait to improve them haha.
I haven't been to the gym in about 5 weeks due to being to busy with my wedding and what not but i am home from my honeymoon on Wednesday cant wait to get back at it.

Yeah man still at it. Largest lose was 19kg i have put 2kg on again recently but i think that is muscle as i have dropped a waist size again Lol.

Still got a fair bit to go, good bit of body fat to still to shift. Safe to say i am hooked and wont be giving it up :))
 
back in tomorrow morning, my arse is still killing me from the leg day that i done. but felling better for it! started doing front squats too, never been able to do any normal squats before due to my bum shoulder. :nice:

on a side note i'm 16 stone again... giving myself until the end of the year to get to 15 or as close as.
