Civic Vi-RS specifications

Vi RS are Absolutely stunning cars, and as rare as an ek9 may be, this will 100x rarer! :)

The VI-RS's are rarer than EK9's but they don't have anything unique to make them special like an EK9.
It's definitely a nice car though none the less.

I believe ball joints though should all be the same.
I can't understand why they didn't equip the vi-rs with a b-series motor.
I suppose then it's just a SIR.
I've only ever seen one genuine jdm SIR facelift Ferio.

yeah if only they had done a B series in the RS!
I guess, thats why they have an Si version.

I've only ever seen a facelift Si in automatic here in NZ as well. Doesn't come with all the bodykit like the RS one though.

The Vi RS isn't a B-series...??? What the funk are you paying for then?

There is an SIR Ferio which has the kit and a b16a but it's mega rare.
You're paying for the rarity factor when you buy a VI-RS.

that and the fact that it is a better package than most base models. nicer interior/sportier interior, disk brakes all around (same size as EK4), front and rear sway bars, different shocks and springs, all make it a better package. but again, not worth that much more than base model just for these bits and pieces.

I dont really understand the whole vi-rs price thing either lovely car but at the end of the day you could buy a EK4 Si facelift decent spec and have a B16 and pretty much same everything else? Most people B series them anyway!

There was a decent amount imported into Ireland during the boom but unfortunately a lot arent in the best shape, I still see handful virs driving around with older drivers
