Moved my ObjectDock, made it completely transparent, and reduced the magnification size to 100 pixels (left the normal size at 55 though). I like it better towards the left since for 10 years I've been throwin the mouse down there.

broke the monitor on the laptop (dropped something on it) so I'm havin to run an external monitor on it at school. I only use it in one class and it's Networking I so I just borrow one of the unused monitors and this is what I have now (lappy's built in monitor is 16:10 widescreen at 1280x800 but the externals I use at school and home are 5:4 at 1280x1024):

I'm getting a new laptop soon so I'm actually happy I broke the monitor. This laptop is pretty pathetic. Celeron 440M with a 1.5GB of RAM and Intel 945G graphics. It can't play the original Half-Life right and hiccups running an SNES emulator. What I'm looking at has an Athlon X2 M QL-62 with 2GB of RAM and GeForce 8200M Graphics.

Hmmm, forgot to post my new laptop's crap. I've actually been through a few backgrounds on it.

Oh yeah, and I got the one I was looking at. I lucked out and found the exact same model at Office Depot in town that I was looking at on Newegg.com online. It was even the same price (I have to pay sales tax at both places so it was still the same price) so i got to save on shipping and got it a lot quicker.

AND I ****in hate my new laptop. Can't play HD video right, horrid battery life, Office 2007 Ultimate won't activate on it, no s-video, overall underwhelming performance. SO, I put it up for sale on a local automotive forum and fixed my old one and here's the result.

hey i tried googling the program Real desktop 1.32A i cant find it ><, hmm.. this program dosnt exist anymore ?

I think I would find Real Desktop more annoying than anything. Plus it'll leave your video card in 3D mode and if you own something with a loud fan like a GeForce 7600GT, that can get incredibly annoying, and it also makes your computer use up more power.

Dang man, why do you have it set to such a low res. Need to set your Video resolution on the PC to match the TV/monitor's native res. It should look much better. I bet your native res is something like 1366x768.

It is, but my video card doesn't recognise that res for some reason. It does below and above, but not exactly that res. So I have a little unused border as is. It's hooked up through HDMI with a cheaper ati radeon card. I recall that VGA would do full screen through the onboard video. I might have to go with VGA and seperate sound from the sound card.

Here is mine, really simple one :)
