Very nice.

Noticed you have a breather on the back of the cam cover, is there any benefit of removing the pipe/line that goes back into the intake side and fitting one?
This is just about to get removed and reverted back to OEM. It just happened to come with the engine when I bought it, not a fan of it at all.

Car is looking great, love what you have done! im thinking of getting a personal wheel for mine, i have an omp dish one and evertime i go to indicate i miss the stalks as its too far away haha

I can't justify the cost increase of getting Spoon HT Leads vs standards. Eventhough they do look 100x better.

What is that hose running to the coolant overflow tank? Mine is manky.
Luckily got them at a good price but still would've bought new if not haha just such a nice piece imo. Not sure man bottle came with the car. Will be buying a brand new genuine honda bottle and pipe soon so can give you a shout if I sell it!

Thanks mate! Yeah it's a good size and the HKB boss is great too. Would rather a Spoon Sports wheel but that'll come at a later date haha.

Are you still on the meister r CRD coilovers mate? How do you rate them, any complaints, only fast road use so far? And do they go pretty low, enough to tuck 15s? Just weighing up options :) thanks

Yeah mate brand new haha probs have only put about 20 miles on them and the car since getting it running. Plenty room to go low yeah, I'm tucking 15's just now with 205/50/15. But going to raise it a touch to improve the ride and suspension travel. Ride quite hard but pretty good yeah! Defo good quality and worth the money.

Few minor updates. After fitting the Spoon HT leads I relocated the rocker cover earth to the strut tower from the back of the cover, much better imo.

Also fitted the OEM rocker cover breather pipe and brand new genuine honda pcv pipes.

Another part I was missing was sourced and fitted, shifter boot. Still waiting on my CircuitHero shifter plate after nearly a month and a half!!

Doesnt fit perfectly over the Hybrid Racing shifter but does the job and will be covered by the shifter plate once it arrives! Also sourced, painted and fitted a rear shifter linkage bush bracket.

Them lastly replaced the previously poor condition dented old rear OEM subframe brace with one in original finish and better condition.

As you can see shes nice and clean underneath!! Hopefully a few more updates soon!

Oh damn they really are brand new! lol ah that's good to hear, I'm not slamming it but I like to have the choice and ability to go low or set it at wherever :) I'm on BCs right now with stiffer spring rates so used to the harsher ride but will adjust damping. Cheers mate! I'll add these to my list of choices

I'm hopefully picking one up this weekend all being well, having previously owned 2 DC5's, an EP3 and a CH1 type r, always wanted to try an EK9.
Awesome man, what's the rough spec and any pics? Not many for sale just now! Only know of 2 nice ones.

Not much of an update but finally my CircuitHero shifter plate arrived from the states. Fitted it, the little plastic trim strip was a pain to fit as it had to be cut to size and then was very fiddly to fit. Unsure why they dont come fitted but oh well, looks pretty sweet imo.

Here is it fitted in the car. Goes really well with the Hybrid Racing shifter I think.

Raised the EK9 a little bit to try and improve clearance and suspension travel as I'm going to add a 5mm spacer all round. No pics as it's very hard to tell the difference. Will get photos once I'm happy with the fitment!

I was looking at the circuit hero earlier, but not sure about it with the oem shift boot. Looks sick with the Hybrid though so may be added to the list haha

You cant use the OEM shift boot. The Circuithero shifter plate replaces the OEM boot. I couldn't get the OEM boot to fit over the Hybrid racing shifter.

Not an update but took the car out for a quick run today, MOT on monday and finally insured now! The weather was just too good not to take it out regardless of the risk of having no MOT haha, luckily I live in a pretty quiet area!

Cant wait to get the EK9 MOT'd on monday and go for a good run in it and finally put some miles on it. Sadly will have to put the spare UK DC2 15's I have on for MOT as the tyres of the Advan's are far from legal lol. But a brand new set of AD08RS'S are on order and should get them fitted to the RG1's next week at some point!

MOT today, passed with no advisories. Wasn't a worry when a crate of Coors light was left on the passenger foot well for one of the lads I work with haha. An MOT tester myself so obviously the car is well above standards for being road legal, well we'll not talk about emissions....lol. Stoked to be able to cruise about in it now.

Excuse the uk dc2 wheels, hate the way they look but the RG's will be back on as soon as the AD08RS's arrive! Was a great feeling driving it home, stage one complete, the car is finally legally on the road. Now just to enjoy it and continue further improvements! Not sure what's next in terms of updates but as soon as I buy something cool or do something interesting I'll update.
