I am running a custom 3" pipe with velocity stack 6" filter and cold air feed.
Something like this but with a filter at the end.

The problem with airboxes is that you cant tune the length of the pipe which is very important . The only airbox that's performs good is mugen cos the velocity stack but all airboxes like tegiwa or mugen are very pricey. With the 1/3 of the money you can have an intake that performs the same...
Generic 3" sort intake pipe with 3" velocity stack + 6" filter combo. Its proven itself time and time again on b16/b18 to make power over every intake on the market. Tuned length helps though, I saw on the dyno more power and smoothest powerband when I lengthen the tubing more.
Velocity stack is a must in my eyes for a decent intake. Increases flow rate and power with whatever combo you choose (airbox, cai, sri, ect). I have seen some back to back dyno result with always positive results. You cant go wrong with a velocity stack.:nice:

Intake setup similar to endyn's is the best for honda engines..Simple but very efficient.

You don't need to make an airbox for your cai.. Apexi intake is good coz build in velocity stack but a real 180 degree radius velocity stack with a filter is much better.
