Painted the rear boot will be doing the bonnet too and car is going nano grey. Went a bit orange peely due to the heat (gutted) so ill have to cut and polish it next week
Whilst the weather is awesome why not start on the body work! Smoothed the bootlid and will be going gloss black same with bonnet. Rear arches getting welded in a couple of weeks. Then colour change!
Ok cool thanks lads. So we dont know if the bluetooth connection will work or not? Reason i ask i wanna see if my gauges are properly calibrated theyve been a bit iffy since i messed on with them!
Hi guys quick one i have a 97 ej9 auto, what type of obd2 port does it have?
And also am i able to get a bluetooth obd2 port connector so i can bluetooth gauges to a tablet? Or does the ECU need to be unlocked to be able to do this?
Any info would be greatly appreciated
Bit off topic but ive jusy done these small panels for a good friend for his 1965 and 1955 triumphs.
Come out like a factory finish out the gun ever so slight orange peel but wanted a showroom finish so sanded them back with 2500 and poished back.
Then he sent me pics of them back on the bike.
All painted in 2K direct gloss. Polished the jackson supercharger logo just for that extra touch. Come out like new.
If anyone has experience in painting let me know what you think and any hints and tips would be greatly appreciated!
Been a while since updating! So heres whats went on.
Wrapped my centre console to match the door cards. Bought a replacement arch still need drivers side. Started painting the interior plastics. Changed my dials to white.
Ive always loved painting and always wanted to try and paint with a HVLP...
Managed to get the bottom half in but cant seem the get the top on.
Just off some lad it came out of his ej/ek so it should go in no bother been scratching my head for ages because it should be simple enough
