What would you call this part?

Owning the MG ZR was pretty simple compared to all this and I didn't even ever look into VW stuff (got a Polo rn).. but the web that Honda parts weave is crazy. In an interesting way. MG would have been simple because it was pretty small scale so didn't really go world wide. I know that there...

What would you call this part?

But it says 'origin USA' :/ Wasn't the K20C1 also made in the USA but was never for their market? (Genuine interest, not being a smart ass... although that is my default mode :busy: )

What would you call this part?

Wow... well no wonder if it's coming from the US :o I did try a few people on eBay and Facebook today, that are breaking EJ/EK Civics. One guy got back to me and has the full facelift crash bar for a decent price, but can't ship it. Ain't that always the way. Cheers for that price check though...

What would you call this part?

Yeah, no probs. Cheers! :) The eBayer wrote back, saying it was from an MB and even attached a photo... I pointed out that he should add that info and the pic to the listing when he relists it. ¬_¬ (He'd simply written 1997 Honda Civic) I wasn't even aware of these Civic codes... Too glued to...

What would you call this part?

Fgs... it's pre-facelift. Still, it doesn't fit with the pre-facelift lights either. Mate found it in search, but the link didn't work ¬_¬ I'm still searching.

What would you call this part?

Right, hahaha. I found some funky looking crash bar on eBay (never goes down well, right?) and the guy was claiming it's from a 1997 Civic. I managed to get one of my front wings off and put one of my facelift headlights in (held in place with two screws)... now, when I put this crash bar on the...

    Got the rear bumper off...

Yeah, it's the logistics of it really, isn't it? Would have to go to a person to check for myself if it's truly rust free and not just repainted and/or photos taken at special angles with special lighting. Then the issue of.. it's a shell... it would need a flat bed to get home and home it...

    Got the rear bumper off...

I wanted to check what condition the rear crash bar was in... oh. Ain't that a bitch... no bar front, no bar back, *sigh*. Also, I think the square sections that have been blocked off to make round holes are where a crash bar would be installed into (then bolted on via the boot floor)... so I...

What would you call this part?

Ooh, that could be useful. and yeah, fair enough. I do like asking people 'in the know' for advice and always feel guilty if it won't actually bring them anything back. It's a two way street, after all. I have just noticed you signature though! Which I will bookmark as it's what I'm hoping to...

What would you call this part?

It's gone like... flakey rusty. (I live by the sea and the old woman I bought it off lives.. well, lived a few doors down). I did however find a 4th! variation, rofl. (this part of the car is crazy). it's the two arms connected with a tube. It a little like the rear light weight chassis...

What would you call this part?

Ahha, cheers guys. It's maybe been a while since I've had a car I loved enough to join a forum for (previous being an MG ZR160 that I got from new back in.... well, years ago). I was on the MG forum pretty much every hour of the day. I guess it's a dieing medium now with the likes of...

What would you call this part?

No response, noice. Since Google has actually linked to this forum with questions I've had in the past, and at least half of them were simply left dangling... unanswered, I'll strive to keep my ones updated and include an eventual answer if I ever reach one. So! With regards to this question...

What would you call this part?

Hey. So I know of slam panels and bumper mounts, but obviously neither of those are this thing (see pic). Previous owner was an old lady, and she parked by touch... so this arm I've circled is a little... bent. Ta!

    Hey hey

Hi all! A short introduction! I live in Wales, UK, and just got my grubby hands on a neighbour's EJ9! :) Old lady who I approached and said, if she ever plans on selling it, I'd have it... she then went and sold it, lol. So yeah, came across the forum as I'm trying to research as much as...
