Try having to take off the whole filter housing unit to put the filter in a vice and then using a long spanner to twist the housing off the filter because it was on so god damn tight! :angry2:
Happened me servicing a Nissan Qashqai, broke 2 chain oil filter wrenches and not even the good old...
Well I work random shifts, days and nights so lack of sleep & time is what is holding me up! :angry: Will be worth the wait and effort when done though!

Not much progress the last while, working too much.. But more money means more parts so have a heap of stuff on order
I was thinking about using a dc2 shell, because I bought the full rolling shell for the subframe and 282mm brakes but it had a bad front end and rear quarter panel so went...

Pretty much the same set up I want then so, but have to wait a while until I get the shorter fd as I've already gone way over my budget for my build! :o
Yea de-tar made a good job of it.. I sprayed it on, left it a minute and wiped it off and then any small chunks that were left I scraped off with the chisel. Then sprayed on some more de-tar and gave it a final wipe and it lifted every last bit. :nice:
I removed my sound deadening a few weeks back, hammer and chisel done the job and basically lifted it as easy as in that video above
