hi mate, yeah like i said the bearings had been done i replaced them with ones that have a plastic washer around to conceal the oil so i dont get the oil strvation problem like before and with the cv joint water got into the rubber covers and corroded the shaft, had it checked and its fine...

Hi guys, Ive had my honda civic ep2 for about a months now and alreadt ive changed the gearbos bearings, and while that was out i did the clutch, but then last night the front drivers side driveshaft (CV joint) SNAPT! do i have a bad egg or am i unlucky. Cheers

Can it be dangerous to the engine though?

Ok cool just though as creating the best start without launch control you need to rev the engine to certain rpm, and as that sticks it at around 4000rpm which doesn't create to much wheel spin thought it would work well!

Oh ok right, can you still sort of use it as one or am I risking damaging the engine?

Yeah I've just thought about that... But it's when you have it In first gear clutch down??? Isn't that basically the same thing. It limits at 4000rpm

hi guys, So I've had my Honda civic ep2 for three days now and I am loving it soo much! So I thought it was completely standard, untill I was messing abouts with my mates revving the engine and I realised I had launch control! Is this standard or has someone been messing with the ecu.....
