Bought a set of EK9 Speedo/Clocks that arrived last week. Super helpful & flexible guy to deal with.. :nice: Clocks were packed up perfectly and no risk of damages in transit.
R-motion have now posted their video from the day, so I can follow suit and release the results:
She pulled 267,264 & 265 on consecutive runs. Needless to say, I am very happy with the results.
The car made good numbers on the Dyno (results will be posted soon.. ) but I felt that it was helped by the cold air feeds that litchfield placed on the intake/intake manifold keeping them extremely cool to the touch even after several runs.
Driving the car in the real world, sadly the intake...

This week, now running, we took the car out on the back of a flatbed truck to a little known location for a bit of a shakedown..

It's been a while since last posting an update to the build. Progress does however continue...

It's actually a custom designed rad spec'd up by the Mike @ R-motion. Initially it was done as I was planning to run ITB's but I decided to cut back a little on cost and sell those on and go back to normal intake manifold/TB set-up.
In most full width k-swap setups though the hot rad surface...
Haven't had much time lately to progress with the build, the interior panels have certainly had to take a 'back seat' for a while. Will get back to those later no doubt.
For the moment, the last few days has seen a little bit of progress getting the engine lined up and positioned in the engine...
Started to look at the rear plastic panels & how (much) to re-fit around the cage. Using masking tape as my guide for where to cut.. the grinder came out (and the dremel for the curves) to slice away the top section of the rear panel to slide in first.
Sadly there wasnt enough clearance...
I recently finalised on the sale of my long owned ek9 having owned it for nearly 10 years, the void was quickly felt....
