Haha yeah i had the same prob with my Ek4 B16a, i think it could possibly be a throttle body whistle, i noticed it when i had all my intake piping of, so this could mean you have a leak in your intake ?

Hi guys, i was talking to my mechanic about it and Honda service centre themself and i can't get the Honda MTF oil anywhere do you think it would be ok to put a generic gearbox oil such as the Penzoil high performance fully synthetic oil ??

yeah ok, well i actually dont have the oem one, but i could try a gear box oil change as i dont know when the last change was done. So with your one it doesn't have any notchiness in any othe gears than first, i think it might be the short shifter. Do you know how much it is for a decent short...

well if i do that it will loose power do you know if the DC2 airbox will fit or of any air filter that will kill the noise but not the power ?

i tried changing the o ring on the sensor, didn't stop it, this is a real brain tickler, i can't work it out.

lol man it isn't the sound of vtec, its an annoying whistle and i haven't heard of any car doing it before thats all, i just want it to stop :S
