The funny things is that most of the OEM clutches and releasing bearings are made in SACHS as honda itself dont manufacture clutches and bearings, so sometimes you will find that Exedy or some othere tuning company is also selling Sachs bearings but rebranded into their own name.
when you says mechanic greased the shafts, do you mean he greased the shaft where the release bearing sits?
If that is the case, grease on the shaft collects the dust from the clutch which then later on causes the bearing to squek and make the noise
100% good oil. I used castrol diesel oil and few more in my cars, turbos and vtec civics and never had any trouble.
You can use that oil and dont worry about it, will do no harm to your engine.
:nice:
im from ireland. I currently have the standard radiator, but im getting integra rad installed in few days, so hopefully that should bring the temps down a bit
thanks
what would you suggest for my car, it only gets used at the track days and all it sees is 5-9k rpm all day long. I have been using 10-40 semi, but recently i have been checking my oil temps and they seem to be quite high. would it be ok if i start using silkolene 10-50 or edge 10-60?
thanks
