Ok so my clutch pedal feels different for all my friends car. basically i have to much free play on my clutch pedal and its pretty soft compare to all friends Type R's do i need to replace my master cylinders or anything? and yes i did bleed the clutch many times. please help its giving me a headache. thank you .

Did you try adjusting the connecting rod between pedal and clutch master cylinder?

bumping this up. my clutch is not great. trans makes a squeaking noise on idle out of gear unless you depress the clutch pedal slightly. does that mean my clutch has no free play or far too much? also when changing gears its hard to be smooth as the gear only really engages when the pedal is almost completely out.

Mines exactly the same, try get used to it and only depress clutch until it is disengaged not all the way to the floor. Ive found after a while your leg gets used to the smaller movement and it actually feels faster to change gear.

Is a high clutch not a sign it's old and soon needing replacement?

the clutch is oem dc2 kit. been in the car 2-3k miles max. just not sure how to adjust it so that the thing isn't squeaking all the time when its out of gear idling. Also to get ride of all the dead pedal movement, the last half of the pedal range to the floor is pointless at present.

Have a play with the rod from the pedal to the master cylinder.
Get your head up under the dash and you'll see its got a nut on the end.
Have a play with that and see if it helps you.

If the squeaking remains after you've adjusted the pedal then the release bearing is probably goosed. I had one fail within a couple of weeks of being put in.

Or check and make sure that the ball on the end of the slave cylinder where meets the release bearing fork is greased mine was dry and squeaked like a family of mice
