Engine oil

I've used 5w40 Fuchs Supersynth for a couple of oil changes, It was okay for a couple of trackdays but seemed to thin out quite quickly after some heating, I guess what do you expect for £22 for 5L? And now I use the Fuchs GT1, 5w40 fully synthetic, £32 for 5L, It seems to hold up much better than the supersynth in terms of burning off and maintaining viscosity at high temps.

I've done x6 trackdays using these oils with no issues in my EP3, I guess I just like to stick to what works and buy cheaper oil to change more than spending a chunk on expensive oil to change less regularly. I don't believe in spending £50-60 for a jar of oil for and OEM Honda engine, I'd recommend the GT1.
