EK9s Looking to go to Japfest this year?

Hi I’ve owned my EK9 since 2008 and haven’t been to one of these festivals before (I usually go to BTCC races at Brands Hatch) my poor car has just come out of the specialist garage from a long 6 months and what better way to enjoy it/ show it off with a few other EKs and Japfest

1. Are there a convoy of EK9s going this year?

2. Tickets are sold out online atm, can you buy them on the day at the gate entrance?

3. Is parking free and available?
 
1 - not a convoy of just EK9's to my knowledge

2 - don't think so, only for general admittance and i believe if your going to park you need one in advance

3 - no its paid

Its too late. no spaces left for cars on show.


If this was done in advance we could sort something out for next year. I could see if @Dzero4 or myself can sort it out if we get enough numbers etc.

Last EK9 stand if can remember at japfest was proabbly around 2015-2017. There was quite a few aswell

Yeah I can’t believe it’s sold out, I’ve been working on my EK9 for 4 days detailing it. It’s looking mint! Just wanna show it off at a few shows and wouldn’t mind cruising up there with a few of you guys.

Do you guys plan to go to any meets in 2024?

Like are there any Honda/jap meets that aren’t on Google lol. I’m new to wanting to show my car off.

Mate I would love to go to any meets with you guys I’ve never done it before. But been detailing her all week and she ready for a few meets this year
 
Mimms? I want to go, but its in the UK and I'm in Ireland with a troublesome Civic. Wouldn't want to get stranded there.
 
We have a stand at JDM Combe, details are on here somewhere

We have JDM combe coming up on 20th july 2024
this is the annual ek9 meetup which we all do every year since 2020/2021

we have a stand aswell for all ek9 only. with the exception of a few who are members on ek9.org

Santa pod is not allowing any outside people to do shows at pod anymore as they want to focus on their own shows. so no more MIMMS at pod.
Mimms at pod is always a great one as sooo many hondas come.

I went to the one mimms where it was at three sisters track and the turn out was about 1/8th compared to what came to pod. there was a track but if you have anything with more than 200hp its pointless going on it as the track is technically a go kart track

Dav is trying to get another venue such as castle combe which im waiting to hear if this comes back as good location.
