    Y56 paint

I’d like to get a few answers with paint I believe sunlight yellow Y56 is the oem civic colour. Is Phoenix yellow (sometimes referred to as PY56 any different to the civic Y56? Basically my rear quarters were painted and it’s quite a bit darker than the rest of the car. The cars paint is also...

    My 2000 Sunlight Yellow EK9

This last post is a request from myself to all the members. Can you please advise me of a good body shop in Surrey area? I am specifically looking for a body shop which uses the scan tool to get a perfect match for paint, I don’t want to rely on somebody’s eyes looking at a card they’ve sprayed...

    My 2000 Sunlight Yellow EK9

I was broken when I saw the condition of the arches, I wasted no time in covering the bare metal in zinc primer and stonechip I then booked it into a bodyshop I’ve used for years with my VWs. They saw the car and said they could fold the lip in nice with a tool they have, then paint after. I...

    My 2000 Sunlight Yellow EK9

Little update, I had my arches rolled by arch enemy. Because the arches had been replaced previously before my ownership, the spot welds were thick on the arch lip, this strengthened the lip and made it near on impossible to roll Also to blend in the new panel they used filler, this obviously...

    B16B vacuum and EVAP

sorry about the late reply, I’ve been a little busy with things so the larger hose you can see in the first picture goes direct to a hard line, probably to the tank although that’s as much as I had time for when I looked also the pancake PCV type thing on the top, small hose that comes from...

    Yellow EK9 spotted, Street Somerset.

Just realising the car you are all talking about is my own, I’ve tracked previous owners and uncovered some of the cars history. Amount of times I clicked on this thread and wondered

    B16B vacuum and EVAP

I’d assume that is the Evap as on most cars I’ve owned the evap is at the bulkhead still relatively new to my car and I’ve never even looked at that myself yet

My meisterR Zeta CRD coilovers arrived and I had them fitted up in under 90 minutes. These Hondas are like Lego compared to other cars I’ve worked on Spent the day after getting them to sit where I want and also eyeballed the camber until it gets an alignment. Before that happens though I have...

    My 2000 Sunlight Yellow EK9

One last update which may be of slight interest to some. Picked up an Ignis sport as a fun Daily hack. Its dented and scratched all over, undesirable colour and all that. But thats what attracted me more as I need something I can not give a toss about It is a blast to drive and I would...

    My 2000 Sunlight Yellow EK9

Unfortunately that is where the civic pictures end for now, Progress is a little slow as I have been focusing on renovating my house. House is almost done now though so more time for the car soon Still to come is a set of meisterR coilovers as I need a slightly stiffer spring to the spoon shock...

    My 2000 Sunlight Yellow EK9

Brakes do feel improved a great deal. And the install was relatively painless aside from some rounded disc retaining screws. This is my first aftermarket brake kit and it is nice to have something that just bolts up, rather than looking in parts bins to find an OEM combo that works. I lacked...

    My 2000 Sunlight Yellow EK9

As you can see from me taking more pictures at this point I really started to fall in love with the car at this point. Its always been a fantasy to have a spoon catalogue EK9 and it feels strange that its coming true Next on the list was to fit some spoon Twin-block callipers to finish the...
