I checked the ohlins catalogue as well and there's nothing listed specifically but ive seen civics/tegs with ohlins so there must be a suitable cross match.

Nothing comapres to Ohlins. May not have as many adjustments and gimmicky features as some but if you want to keep your car on the road/track they can't be beaten.

Ideal result :dance: (Other than having to do it in the first point I suppose.) I would just make sure that there are no gouges out the flywheel cos that'll really throw everything out if its not skimmed and that means more stress/cash in the workshop!

Exactly the problem I had, its pretty common - are you running an OEM clutch? The tranny should be ok, there might be a few chunks out of the flywheel which if only minor you can get skimmed to ensure it stays balanced but if they're too deep you'll need a new one. Its a bit of a relief...

Yep sounds like clutch to me. Had a similar problem and it was the spring on the pressure plates that had sheared off. You'll get loads of people telling you its the gearbox I'm sure but rule out the clutch first.

If I had £20k spare I would definitely get one. Went to a mini cruise with a mate and there was a R1 Z Car there. The build quality/componentry was immense and the noise/speed was off the scale. Lack of length makes it super twitchy though!!

Wish I knew this before, lots of minters in Ireland. Thought you had to pay 10% import duty and then your VAT on top like normal imports. Right then, lets widen the search!!
