I bought the Ls crank for 30 took it to my local shop they knife cut,reblanced and did a blue print on it, so what i im asking is what pistons are the best to run a p72 or a p73 just want comp to be ok cause later on im going to go boost?

Yes tuners cams would work better if is going to be a D.D, if it is a track car go with bisimoto stage 3 with low comp pistons with a spoon or toda headgasket to make the comp go higher to 11.1 make good power.

Go H23 Euro type R, k killer with basic bolt on about 3800 here in the states seen those cars run 12 sec and a great track motor yes it is heavy but the tq u gain is crazy.

Well if ur going to swap and copy a ek9 find a DC2 type R and you can find them i did or get lucky and take everything out so you will take the whole lower front subframe and rear,hubs,brakes everything like what i did it makes it a whole lot easier and cheaper then piece by piece. plain out honest truth i walk k20 all day with my b series. I perfer to run a b, but if you got the cash and the mechanic skills, go with a k20 big displacement and a timing chain.

Out here in the states it is very common to run the setup that you are talking about. Apocalypse Racing has done one almost the same.

I dont agree with that, from what a lot of old forms said that the b16b is a lot stronger then a b18 do to the slevee being a lot thicker. Almost the same as a itr engine b18 plus i have stroked my block and no issues with 16lbs of boost daily driven 100 plus miles a day.

Yup im planing to do the same but i will use the usdm and keep it with low compression, because i want go boost with around 15-20 psi. Also Blinx would the ls crank be better to run on boost or use a 1.8 type r.
