    Turbo'd B16B

the high compression makes the b16b it harder to tune than other stock engines. remember running richer may loose power, but fuel cools the piston. As a personal preference,id want it tuned a little on the rich side.

    Aftermarket springs and OEM retainers

i have seen titanium retainers flatten out, destroying race heads/motors. oem retainers for anything. Save the 200 you spend. Shop race car, revs to 11,000. OEM type r retainers on toda valve springs.

this is my daily driver with AC, ps and full interior! I got a t1 kit because without the wires being shielded (stock wiring is not) the "signals" from the distributor would be come mixed up and would not allow for revs over 7krpms. Got a t1, wired it in and it fixed that problem. stock...

    B16B safe RPM limit ?

your tach is no relevance to how many rpms your engine is turning. The RPM on the tach is only a signal from the ecu, somtiems weaker and older clusters tend to be off, its not -+500, its a % off. My stock Ek9 ECU turns to 8600 on the dot, my cluster reads 9000ish Take it to a dyno to...
