The cables would physically fit but will be too long.

You should never have to top up brake fluid. Its low because the pads are worn - its a low pad warning system. When you replace the pads the level of fluid will go back up.

Thats pretty much the setup I run although mine is a B18C6 as opposed to a B16b but same outcome.

Yep there was a difference in cam profile.

b16b cams have a very simialr profile to the ITR cams - not sure if they are exactly the same or not but gains will certainly be very similar.

Megan racing dont seem to have a bad name so they may well be ok. Bushes may not be top quality but you can usually replace these.

If its a tinny rattly noise then I doubt its suspension related - mroe like something loose as mentioned above. If its more of a knock then id say balljoints are a good candidate.

Thats rubbish - they are trying to get out of it. They should not be chucking grease out at all. What did they secure the boots on with? Are they just cable tied on or have they done it properly with proper cv boot clamps?

I also have a DC2 stock one available or an ebay double bend short shifter.

Are DC2 ones the same as I have a set of these available.

yeah thats a fair point but its unlikely. I think most of this is largely irrelevant anyway without actually knowing what the problem was in the first place lol.

Depends how much you pay for a block. You should be able to get an empty b18 block for £100 or a complete one for £200 or so.

Just look for any SOHC d series manifold which will physically fit. Sounds to me more like the buddyclub has been bodged on and hes making excuses. Is it a cat back system or downpipe back?

Any 81mm b series pistons will be fine. Rather than custom rods, it would be easier to use an ITR or B18c4 crank with b18 rods. The engine would then become a 1.8 with much more choice on rods.
