Recently popped over to see Will @ RDT on Saturday for a pre-dyno inspection and to pick up my S300 v2 that he supplied and socketed for me. Then decided to do a baseline dyno run as well so we have something to compare to when it goes back for a re-tune on Hondata.
What can I say about Will...
Hey guys, I keep coming onto the forum to check out some of the builds and the for sale sections, so thought it was time to update my thread.
Small update. Thought I would post this up before the larger jobs commence over the coming days and weeks so I can keep everything up to date...
Hi Guys,
I wonder if any of you may be interested in this as it's a bargain price! We currently have 2 spaces left so let me know sooner rather than later if you want to join in on the action :)
Spoken to David who is the course secretary for Curbrough Sprint Track. Although he only...
Thanks guys. I should have some more updates soon. Removed 5.2kg of sound deadening the other day, along with removing the rear ariel alongside the wiper.
Just waiting on my bloody bushes to be pressed in... Really want my suspension sorting ASAP so I can drive it properly as it needs alignment...
Well i've yet to do my other two torque mounts, and I just have over half left. Bearing in mind that the lower gearbox mount has much more depth than the other two torque mounts, I think it should be about right, but will be able to confirm next month :)
There's quite a few turbocharged ITR's...
You want something like this: EasyFlo 60 - 1 Litre Fast Cast Polyurethane Liquid Plastic Kit | eBay
Of course, I went for a 70a shore rating - you may want harder or softer depending on your needs.
It's getting there. Pretty soon, it will be mechanically sound and the only thing bringing it...
I had this issue. Took nigh on a fortnight before any error codes popped up. Crank position sensor.
I tried plugs, leads, coil, rotor cap and arm, timing, fuel filter, anything I could.
Just whacked a 2nd hand dizzy in, worked after that.
So here's the latest update:

Went to Mallory Park in December to have a blast around. Was good fun. Slid off Gerard's bend in the early morning due to it being wet with my tyres still quite cold (no talent), which I have on video, and had an over steer moment a short while later.. Which I also have a video of  but once...
Thanks. I actually have an OEM rocker cover gasket and some new red wrinkle paint sitting here. I'm moving out in a few weeks and I cannot wait as I will actually have my own driveway and garage to work on the things I want to, when I want to! :D

More updates.
A couple of quick sneeky pictures!
And now it looks...
You can fit the new HAMP oil filters from K series engines to the B series, and they tend to be smaller which do indeed increase oil pressure. I have one waiting to fit when I install the oil cooler.
Old rad out - it was falling to bits!
Then it was a case of getting the new rad sized up. snip some wires off to old fan to use with the new fan loom. make sure the system is fully emptied, etc
Bend a bracket here or there. use a cable tie or two to keep stuff in temp position...
Thanks guys. I couldn't of done this without the assistance of some friends though!
Now onto the exhaust:
Went down to Topgear/Longlife HQ in April 2011 for a custom exhaust set up after speaking with one of the HO guys and they seem to have done good.
I went for a 2.5" set up for the pending...
As you can see, engines head is off, now it's time for the gearbox to come off
Lifting it out

Thought I would say hi and copy across my build up of the car and what's happened to it in the last couple of years or so of ownership including pictures of the...
Thought I would pop by and say "Hi".
Saw an Ek9 yesterday and it looked sha-weeeet. :nice:
I don't tend to see many Ek9's compared to Dc2/5's.
