Think I've worked out what the problem with mine is. Makes me sound really silly but it has a aftermarket lsd fitted and apperantly the oil needs changing regulary otherwise it gets noisey and clunks. Has yours got a aftermarket lsd on? thanks for all the comments.. the ek9.org stickers where already on there when i brought it, and yes i did ask if anyone knows about the car but that was in another post. the type r stickers are now on the car and really looks alot better with them on :) im not to sure about the steering...

yeah thats sort of what mine does but only when youve been driving it for a good few hours it goes away.. and ok let me know please, mines going up on ramps monday.

did you ever find the cause? im having a very similar problem except mine does more than one clunk and only seems to do it at low speeds usually when pulling off in 1st.. does not do it in reverse though. and only when turning right.
