Cheers rob. I spent a good few hours scratching the bay up with scourers, i will jetwash and dry then de grease the bay next, before primer. That sound right? As for colour, i think im going to stick with white to try and keep it sonewhat original

a quick pic took today. Pulled the engine to tuck the engine loom and stripped the bay to prep for paint. Im starting to think i may paint it myself to save some cash, were in a recession afterall

It didnt come with them, i think ot was raced in japan and had a full wrap looking at paint condition and old its of vinyl in door shuts etc You are probly right thoigh, itll looklike an ej9 lol

Cheers chap! Hopefully itll be something different! Always liked ek9s but theyre all much of the same. I think this will stand out a bit with the lack of tints, stickers and a big dirty cage lol

Andyrob- ill be sure to pm you mate! It started first turn of the key and runs sweet! No CEL's etc! Yeah, for a temp fix i pulled the sump off and knocked as much of the dent put as i could, and also checked it hadnt touched the oil pick up etc But i agree, its going to be a big long project...

I believe you can remove the mileage part of the cluster and swap it with your own if your careful as im sure itll be fiddly
