When i had those plugs the wrong way round my car wouldnt rev over 3k and caused code 10 and 41 which is lamdba sensor so when reset you might be ok.

Better off with a chipped ecu would be only slightly more expensive to buy and get tuned over the spoon.

Ive just replaced the distributor and the car was running fine gonna triple check the earths again although i doubt it is them as i have gone over them twice. Cant understand how removing the earth has done this:angry2::
