It is other than you need to space the carrier out 3mm with ek9 hubs...

Done it now people, well almost. I don't how different other hubs are but I'm running EK9 hubs. Everything is a direct fit if using all ATR parts. The only thing you need is a 3mm washer between the caliper and carrier so the disc is centralised in the carrier. Thanks Dan

Did you have to space the disc or do any grinding to the carrier mate? To centralise the disc in the caliper?

Hi all I've bought myself some ATR calipers and carriers for my EK9 hubs. I've found random bits of people saying the disc needs spacing out, the carrier needs machining down etc etc but can't seem to find a definite answer on fitting these? I really want to run the ATR full standard...

Anyone done this? I've tried searching and found different views on how it's done but no definite "how to" for the weekend when I fit mine! Some people are saying you need to have 3mm ground from the carrier mounting points, some people space the discs by 2mm etc etc? Can anyone give me a...

I'm glad I'm not the only one! The carrier needs to be either spaced outwards or skimmed which'll bring it closer to the disc face. They're two different things and will end up with opposite results. Only asking as I've got this setup ready to go on my EK9 hubs...

Mine goes pretty well for a C4. But then I've got a S80 ITR box fro a 98 spec, skunk2 inlet manifold, DC sports manifold, Spoon N1 exhaust, and ITR air box setup. This month I'm fitting B16B cams, ITR double valve springs and retainers, Tegiwa exhaust manifold and getting Daz @ DNR to map it :D

Not much help but it seems EK9 engine looms are a bitch with anything other than a B16B. My brother also had similar problems with a EJ9, B18C4 and EK9 loom. Got it down to just the one problem which is it won't cold start without holding the throttle open. Other than this it's perfect but...

Yes it should but you definitely need a ASR brace or similar to stop the bigger ARB damaging the sub frame!
