im headed to a friends house tonight to pick up an ex harness and try that. im also taking his y8 head for my girls 2000 dk hatch. should be a long night. but hopefully the ctr will live by the end of it.... wish me luck.
timing was good. my friend said i should get a civic ex harness so the vtec was wired from the factory. we've double checked all the wires and everything checks out. does anyone else think its some kind ov issue with our wiring? and another thing when we got the swap the tps sensor from the b...
so far we have double checked all the wiring. added new plugs,wires,cap,rotor,.. it doesnt read any CELs . tried my friends p72 ECU. checked timing, still no luck. been 3 days of testing stuff and still nuthin..

ok. so i have just swapped a 98 b16b into my 96 civic dx.(y7 non vtec) we used the stock y7 harness for the swap. adding vtec and and the iacv. now everything checks out good. but when we start the car up. to even make it stay idling it needs the throttle to be wide open! and it will only stay...
