1999 honda civic 1.4 ej9
hello guys kinda new to the honda scene i drive a 1999 1.4 civic initial (ej9) rather bored of the power it produces and have sourced myself a civic mb6 which has a b18c4 engine now i want to swap the engine into my civic now my concerns are :

1) would a h-tune ecu conversion harness/jumper obd2a to obd1 along with a h tune p28 ecu run the car?
2) where can i get some engine mounts to suit this swap?
3) would the mb6 brakes/hubs fit the civic as i would like disc all round

any info would be appreciated

thanks

josh

Hello Josh

Am assuming you have the facelift Ek opposed to the Preface lift?

You will need the following

Obd2b vti engine loom from a Ek facelift vti/EK9, Ek vti/EK9 engine mounts, Ek vti/EK9 gear linkage, p28 ecu (B18c4 basemap) with Obd2b to obd1 conversion harness,

The brake setup should go on but you may need Ek handbrake cables, not done this swap but have seen many people running this, maybe someone else can clarify.

Mounts you should be bale to get used unless you want to buy aftermarket like hasport and innovative, but a wanted thread up someone should have the mounts.

I have used a htune ecu and harness, and that ran my car fine. Although I can remember I needed to bridge some wires on the harness.
