1978 B16 Turbo Civic

nice post rvm!

it's very rare to see an old car that's this powerful and heavily modified. can't wait for the updates.

Just noticed this thread. That looks an awesome build.

Will be keeping an eye out for any updates

Really admire people who do the kinda projects that require serious custom work! And also restoring and saving old school cars! Cant wait for the updates! :D

dyno sheets power figures, any vids of it actually running??

this is a crazy build, something i have often thought about doing one day if i have the time and money..(bar the turbo tho lol... my thoughts where toward a high comp b20)

This thing is going to be crazy :O with that much power in such a light car! Can't wait to see more updates!

That project is immense hats off the your mate attempting that, me and a few friends have always wanted to build some old school cars with mad engines but reading through this it dosnt look as easy as i thought

our list of cars that was considered was

a mk1 civic with b18 turbo
a Prince skyline 1957 - 1963 with a rb26(extremley difficult)
a s600 with a f20c
a datsun 240 with a sr20

like i said after reading this thread i think some of the above would be almost immpossible

trying to source the shells would be the hardest

Update!!

Dyno time!!

2 Maps where made, 1 map with 14 psi of boost, it made 460 WHP and 327 lb/ft of torque. On the second map, 19 psi of boost, 497 whp and 365 lb/ft of torque. On pump gas!!
